A wonderful festival with excellent communication from start to finish, an incredibly welcoming team, and a truly dedicated hostess who makes every filmmaker feel part of the community. The organization was outstanding throughout the entire process, and it was always clear that a great deal of care and passion went into every aspect of the festival.
The final awards gala was exceptionally well prepared, warm, and professional. The venue chosen for the ceremony was spectacular, located right in the heart of Madrid, providing a beautiful setting to celebrate independent cinema and connect with fellow filmmakers.
Beyond the awards, what stands out most is the festival's commitment to filmmakers and its growing international community. We highly recommend it to any independent director looking for a festival that genuinely values creativity, diversity, and authentic storytelling. The selection is highly competitive because of the excellent work submitted each year, which speaks volumes about the festival's reputation and curatorial standards.

On behalf of CESO ENTERPRISES, INC., Alyssa Dann, Chris Oledude, and all of our production participants, I would like to compliment the organizers and operators of Madrid Film Awards. When we created our first music video (which was long enough to be a short film), we knew nothing about film festivals. With the help of FilmFreeway, we started researching. The categories were good. Everyone who contacted us on behalf of this festival was helpful. The submissions looked excellent.
It was indeed exciting to discover this new world and to be so warmly welcomed by the inhabitants! To have GEORGE FLOYD: SAY THEIR NAMES selected for inclusion was an honor in and of itself.
We were happy to “get the word out” and continue motivating people worldwide to consider the injustices embedded within our nation’s criminal justice system. After all, situations where a powerful segment of the population uses its law enforcement apparatus to abuse and oppress other segments of the population are recognizable in and common too many societies.
